Safety Standards in Bishop Arts and Beyond

With our Bishop Arts (Dallas) location now being open for its first full week of operations (yay!), we have decided to move forward with safely and responsibly opening our this location for walk-in ordering and limited-capacity dine-in with strict safety standards. *Please note that while we will be accepting walk-up orders in Bishop Arts, we will not be accepting cash payments in an effort to remain contactless and providing the safest experience for our customers and staff.

Although our Bishop Arts location will be accepting walk-up orders and dine-in, our Miami locations will remain strictly as pre-order pickup and delivery only, given their smaller store footprint. Regardless of payment options offered, each store has implemented elevated sanitation with strict schedules, expert-guided food safety protocols, mandatory face masks and social distancing measures at each location.

Continuing as Pickup and Delivery Only, Through Government Reopenings

Over the next few days and weeks, local governments and health authorities are beginning to allow restaurants and businesses to open their doors to allow customers inside. Although parts of South Florida begin to enter Phase 1 tomorrow (5/18), we will NOT be opening for walk-ins just yet. This means that we will continue operating as we have been recently — offering pre-order pickup on our website & delivery through Uber Eats ONLY from both of our shops. We want to be as safe as possible for our community and feel that this is the most responsible decision at this moment.

We will update everyone along the way with any changes or announcements as to allowing customers inside our shops. It’s been a wild ride these last 2 months and we are so grateful to all of you who continue to support us during these times. We can’t wait to emerge on the other side of this and be able to bring people together again.♥️

Precautionary Steps During COVID-19 Outbreak

As we all know, the situation with COVID-19 is extremely dynamic and we are continuing to review the facts presented to us on a daily basis in order to make the most informed and proactive decisions to keep our customers, staff, and communities safe.

Starting today, we will be making changes in our shop to ensure the safety of all including:

  • Replacing all of our reusable plates, silverware, and cups from use, and will be serving disposable to-go cups and boxes for all orders.

  • Straws, lids, sugar, and milk will be moved behind the bar and available upon request.

  • Hand sanitizer stations have been placed in multiple areas of our shops for easy access.

  • Improved online pre-ordering to limit contact within our shop.

  • Increased cleaning and sanitation on all surfaces in our shops throughout the day, including professional cleaning services on a weekly basis.

For anyone unable to make it to our locations, please remember that we also deliver through Uber Eats! We appreciate the support of local businesses during this time, but also encourage anyone who isn't feeling 100% to stay home and stay safe. We are preparing to move to a "to-go" only model beginning next week on March 16th. This means that all dining and patio areas will be closed for customers, as we will only accept orders for pickup online or delivery only. We look forward to continuing to provide sweet treats during this time in the safest possible environment. Thank you for your understanding.
